STOP 🛑 THESE 3 C's & START Really Living

If you want a bold life — not boring, not default, not stuck — then this starts with what you stop, not what you add.

Most of us don’t need another planner, podcast, or productivity hack. We need to quit the habits quietly draining our joy, confidence, and momentum.

Enter the 3 C’s — three behaviors that keep you small, tired, and stuck on repeat.

Let’s cut them. Today.

1. Stop Complaining

Complaining feels harmless. Even bonding. Sometimes it even feels productive — like you’re “processing.”
But most of the time?
It’s just rehearsing what you don’t like instead of changing it.

Complaining:
Keeps your brain focused on problems, not solutions
Drains your energy and everyone else’s
Trains you to feel powerless instead of capable

Here’s the Bold truth:
You can acknowledge something sucks without living there.

Try this instead:

Say it once.
Decide what’s in your control.
Take one small action.
Bold people don’t deny reality — they refuse to be ruled by it.

2. Stop Comparing

Comparison is the fastest way to turn a good life into one that feels not-enough.

Someone is richer. Fitter. Further along. Happier online.

And suddenly your progress feels invisible.

But comparison is flawed from the start:
You’re seeing their highlight reel, not their behind-the-scenes
You’re comparing your chapter 3 to their chapter 20
You’re forgetting that different paths ≠ wrong paths

Here’s the BOLD truth:
The only person you need to outgrow is yesterday’s version of you.

Try this instead:
Track your own wins weekly
Celebrate progress, not perfection
Ask: “Am I better than I was last month?” — that’s the metric
Bold women don’t compete. They compound.

3. Stop Consuming (and Start Creating)

This is the one no one wants to talk about.
Scrolling. Watching. Saving. Reading. Listening.
Endless inspiration — zero implementation.

We consume so much content that we confuse information with transformation.
But Bold lives aren’t built by watching other people live theirs.

They’re built by:
Trying
Messing up
Adjusting
Repeating

Here’s the Bold truth:
You don’t need more motivation — you need more motion.

Try this instead:

For every piece of content you consume, create one action
Ask: “What can I apply from this today?”
Spend 30 minutes building something instead of scrolling something
Bold women don’t wait to feel ready. They move and become ready.

The Bold Shift
Stop:
✔ Complaining
✔ Comparing
✔ Consuming

Start:
✔ Choosing
✔ Creating
✔ Taking responsibility

This isn’t about being positive all the time.
It’s about being powerful with your time, energy, and focus.

Because your life doesn’t change when your circumstances change.

It changes when your habits do.
And Bold women?

They don’t live by default. They design their lives on purpose.

A personal note from the author:

I learned at an early age that complaining only made the experience prolonged and didn't get me moving in the right direction.
I don't have enough time during the day to accommodate complaining.

Growing up as a poor kid in a very wealthy area, comparison never did anything for me. I decided to work on myself with the time I had available.... I knew I didn't want my life, but I didn't want their lives either, so then what? It was exciting for me to realize I hadn't yet seen the life I'm working towards.

Consumption; this is the one I struggle with. I LOVE to read self-help books, they helped me heal my wounds from childhood and provide different perspectives. I really enjoy Pinterest, for keeping things fresh and up to date on all my favorite topics, chat gpt has been an amazing "friend" to help me work through ideas. But all of these, while helpful and beneficial in so many ways...these are a crutch 🩼 to lean on, like I'm "adding" to my knowledge, but it takes away from me actually creating, actually doing the things I am good at.

Learn from my own mistakes and research and jump into a new phase. One without those three C's and with the important C - creating, at the top of your to do list.

In support of your dreams,

Kaysa
